Privacy Notice

Last updated: May 3, 2026

This Privacy Notice describes how [YOUR LEGAL NAME] ("Look at it AI", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use Look at it AI (the "Service"). We are the data controller for the personal data we collect about you.

1. Personal Data We Collect

  • Account data — name, email, password (hashed), language preference.
  • Profile data — display name, avatar, business details you choose to add.
  • Content — furniture photos, fabric/color samples, projects, masks, and AI-generated previews you create.
  • Usage & telemetry — pages visited, features used, error logs, device type, browser, IP address.
  • Support communications — emails and messages you send us.
  • Payment metadata — subscription status, plan, period dates. Card data is never seen by us; it is handled by Paddle.

2. How We Use Personal Data

  • To create and manage your account (legal basis: contract);
  • To provide AI rendering, libraries, sharing, and other Service features (contract);
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions (contract);
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests);
  • To improve the Service and develop new features (legitimate interests);
  • To respond to support requests (contract / legitimate interests);
  • To send service messages such as password resets and policy updates (contract / legal obligation);
  • To send marketing emails when you have opted in, where required (consent).

3. AI Processing of Your Content

When you submit a render, we send your furniture photo and fabric/color sample to our AI image generation provider (Lovable AI Gateway, which routes to Google Gemini and OpenAI models). Generated outputs are stored in your account. We do not use your uploaded photos to train AI models.

4. Who We Share Personal Data With

  • Lovable Cloud (Supabase) — hosting, database, file storage, and authentication.
  • Paddle.com Inc. — Merchant of Record for payments, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing. Paddle is a separate data controller for payment data.
  • Lovable AI Gateway, Google, and OpenAI — AI image generation processors.
  • Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookie-less pageview analytics.
  • Email provider — for transactional emails (password resets, account notifications).
  • Authorities — when required by law.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, where strictly necessary.

5. International Transfers

Some service providers are based outside Georgia, including in the EEA, the UK, and the United States. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

6. Data Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your projects, uploads, and generated images are deleted within 30 days, except where we must retain limited data to comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax records via Paddle) or to defend legal claims.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • erase your data;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • port your data to another service;

  • lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

You can exercise most rights in-app under Settings, or by contacting us via the contact page. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), encryption at rest, role-based access control, row-level security on the database, and breach monitoring.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use marketing cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
